I made sure i had plenty to play with makes fitting the Filter that much easier , i just feed the excess back under the tank
(Astute Captains will notice only the front intake has the secondary butterfly in place, its there for no other reason than one of the screwheads chewed out and im scared ill break something if i give it to much, doesnt cause any balance issues as map has them 100% open )

So Im thinking off doing this mod this weekend. Dealing with the crankcase breather and the throttle bodie filters is all? I thought there was a third filter required somewhere.

Use the K & N 62-1240 5/8 " it is the same for the breather. It actually fits the Air temp sensor better than the 3/4" filter.

Mate the crankcase breather filter is a real Knt to get on and it blocks up real quick.

How quick? 10k miles, 20k?

isnt that exactly what was happening with the oem intake ?
