Sorry if this has been covered somewhere, but I looked and couldn't find it. Has anyone mounted K-Drive bags using EasyBrackets? I want to put bags on my R3, and like everything about the K-Drive bags except the bar that's left on the bike when the bags are removed. Thanks for any info!

I have exactly the bags you are talking about. I love everything about them except I didn't order them large enough. The brackets are very attractive (I think) when the bags are off. Take a look for yourself, I would recomend going for larger bags. If the picture with the bags on didn't come over there should be one in my profile album.

Thanks

Thanks, hellfire. Do you have any experience with the EasyBrackets? I love the look (and size of the 150) of the K-Drive bags, but really want the back end to look "clean" when the bags are off. The chrome bar left by the stock K-Drive bags is nice, but not the look I'm after. So, wondering if you think the EasyBrackets could be fitted to the K-Drive bags without messing them up...

Don't know about the "easy brackets", can't imagine anything easier that the ones that come with it. Using the set up it comes with lets me take off both bags at the same time in one motion. Only takes one hand to lift and detatch them at the same time when they aren't locked. I can tell you that the mechanism latches to both the top and bottom bars on each bracket, so something with a single cross bar I imagine will make them floppy. The main purpose of the bracket design is to hold the bags out away from the tins so that they don't get damaged or scratched by the bags or quick release.
