Just put a deposit down on a mint 2022 R3 GT

Well, just waved goodbye to the Sportster S. Watched my mint lovely 'looking' bike get loaded into the lorry.

On to the next chapter now

Before you get the mids installed try moving the pegs to the most rearward position, it that feels better you may want to keep the parts handy in case you feel like changig it up later, Congrats on the new wheels. Kinda makes that Sportster S feel anemic doesn't it.
 
Yes, it does make the Sportster S feel like a moped, at least physically. The GT is so comfortable and refined. As for the forwards, they have to go! I’m only 5’7” with a 28” inside leg. After an hour on the motorway my legs were starting to ache. Other than that, it was everything I was expecting and more. There’s quite a marked difference between the riding positions of the R and GT. mainly down to the reduced reach bars.
Mids first, then a tail tidy. If the Mrs doesn’t come on the back, the back rest is coming off too
 
At 5,9..I use mid pegs / Rox bar risers as well. It's now like riding in dirt bike position. Good windshields out there too. Check out all the posts.
