If the rear has been sitting long enough get bad, what about the front? Avon Cobra is a great replacement.
Most people here avoid the Metzlers that come stock.

Dang but your have a nice machine and that this is one generous Navy Commander you know.

As others have suggested, look at the tire makes that are available. The Metzler 880 is stupidly expensive but now there are other make available that are equally good or better for much less money. I had a Bridgestone Exedra Max installed on m 2007 Classic before giving it to my son.

And James, please keep that beautiful Confederate gray colored machine under cover before the paint fades to Yankee blue.

And I love Cajun music and the wonderful Cajun French creole.
