Dont know much about bikes, but as an electrition it sounds ( as mentioned above ) like a loose battery cable or ground wire.

I'd go with the simplest thing. Unless it happens again.

Kill switch, check for operation. And it might have been kinda between. This has happened to me in the past on another bike.
