Jumping out of 1st :-(

Same here.
I also have the 1st. to 2nd. problem (hard shift)...even after the the whole thing was rebuilt by Many Moe and Jack (don't ask).

Same problem. First & Neutral. I was forewarned by my husband when he got his 2005, did the same thing, but what is bizarre, is that when I think I have gone from neutral to first and as I start to pull away from the light, is jumps back into neutral, no fun when you have an idiot on your tail and dealing with the confusion of whats just happened and having to get into gear quick or your gonna get hit.

Its a 'quirk' that you have to get used to and deal with. like someone else wrote, unless you get the 'bang' into the gear, you aint in it. Feather the cluth a bit, make sure it clangs into gear, then your good to go.
