As long as it's the same gear it might be cheaper from there but I have seen some bikes getting around with a similar but inferior version and it doesn't weather well at all . The stuff on mine looks new through rain hail or shine . I will definitely checking out Clark rubber though thanks for the heads up

I talked to the service tech in person about the recall on the headlight relay on my 2010 Roadster. He has ordered the parts to do it and I will take it in to him. He said that prolong use will damage the ignition switch. My service is just about due so I will take it in get that done as well as the recall at the same time. I told him a fellow had the recall done and it killed the battery after 30 hrs. He didn't say much except he hasn't had to do a recall like that on the Roadster. I'm still interested in the Beaver relay kit. Will that kit bypass what they are going to do in the recall? Some one might know more than I will. I haven't look at the wiring schematic to see if does.

I think it will depend on where in the ciruit they put the relay as to most of the questions you ask, but it is nice to see that they are finally admiting there is an issue with the ignition switch load
