Jardine Users - Little Help Here!

I suspect that G-Man is running in higher state of tune than Multibob. Maybe that is reason for the blueing.

If your bike is running like a raped ape, then it may be getting pretty hot.

My R1100S has a heavy dark patina at the pipes. Its a hot motor, and BMW uses single wall tubing. That is word on the Beemer sites for the blueing on the R bikes.
 
Great, another price to pay for power...maybe it needs to be fatter in the low rpms at slow speeds where it doesn't shed as much heat...??

G, you got the three filter thing too...?
 
No blueing here either. I would say you are too lean making it run hotter. Thats usually how they pull more power at the Dyno-tune center. If you tell them to tune for power..... they lean it out. Lean=hot/ rich=cool
