I now have N1's Jards and will be installing them shortly. The last thing I need is the plug that goes into the O2 sensor hole. I know I can get one from Power Commander but it seems I should also be able to obtain one at my local hardware store. Does anyone know if there is anything unique about the plug, such as that it must be stainless?? I assume it is a standard self sealing pipe thread.

After downloading and reading the installation instructions, I now understand what John (N1) was trying to explain to me. I could use my existing 02 sensor to plug the hole, and as John l. suggested, just cut it off or just get an 18mm plug. I'll do the latter and keep the existing sensor with my stock exhaust for when the EPA Nazis come to get us all for illegally modifying our Rockets.
I have the 02 eliminator. The directions show to unplug the connector from the stock 02 sensor and then to plug the 02 controller into the stock wiring harness. With that said, I could leave the 02 sensor and plug it into the Jardines crossover pipe as a first step and see how it runs. However as the directions note, with this closed loop system, without the 02 controller the fuel curve cannot be adjusted below 40% throttle.
What is a CEL?
When I started all this with the PC3, I thought it sounded like a good idea. Perhaps not.
Whew! I thought it referred to an ECU meltdown or something. A piece of black tape fixes a CEL.
In any event, I seem to have all the components to add a few horsepower and make my vanilla Rocket look a bit better too.
I just still have to say that those Preds are one *****in' exhaust system. I almost got up in the middle of the night while at N1's and stole his. I knew he'd have the Texas Rangers on me before I got out of the state though.

Or worse yet, my docile Pit Bulldog could have turned maneater! No, hell that would never happen, maybe the Himalayan cat might have scratched you!
