Is there anything special about jacking up a roadster since the bike jack is right against the motor instead of the frame. Jacked my VTX 1800 up all the time, but it was against the frame. Just a new guy here with a dumb question, I want to store it up off the tires for winter. This is a whole new Beast. I have had the bike for 3 days, 2015 Roadster with 1500 miles. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the site Landstar. I think you're inclination is correct and there are several solutions out there to get the bike in the air and avoid stressing the oil pan. I'm sure there will be several suggestions coming along here soon.

@Landstar please go to the Forum "Introduce Yourself !!" and . . . you guessed it, introduce yourself.

This is the best site for people and things Rockets.

Glad you're here.

And encourage you to make liberal use of the search function, as there is one and a half decades accumulated wisdom here, and very few topics that haven't been addressed, most multiple times.

NOT a dumb question! The subject has had many posts in the near and distant past.
Oh yes, WELCOME to ya and please go do an intro.

Jack B Quick is not THE answer (and I have one), it is AN answer. If it's YOUR answer, well all the good.
