I received my Jack Be Quick bracket today and installed it. My bike is a 2015 and the bracket need slight modification to fit but once it was done it fit perfectly and is really a nice quality product.
Due to a l
casting protrusion on my frame I needed to notch the bracket as shown in the picture. Included in the kit is an aluminum spacer that looks like a 3/8 flat washer only twice as thick. It is
to thick to work on the 2015 frame and most be made thinner. A regular flat washer is a little to thin so I belt sanded the aluminum spacer until it fit snug. I'm happy with mine and if your bike is
older than a 2015 you probably won't have to do these mods.

Daaam... Longrider, you make the Marlboro man look like a *****cat. There is an NRA add here in the US by Charlie Daniels. You would fit right in.
I never thought about the Marlboro Man thing ... but on looking .... yeah thats it. I've always liked that photo ... day 22 of a 31 day ride that crossed Australia South to North then around the West coast to Cross West to East, did 23 Mens Health meetings along the way ... talking about Suicide .... just an excuse to do distances on the Rocket really, Australia is a bit tougher than the states (I think) with consistant anti radar detector laws, very zealous police presence and different speed limits in all states ... all slow! Ride safe! Looking forward to the bracket!!

RocketJohn was good enough to bring his (beautiful) '13 Touring over today for a "fitting" and sure enough, the same problem. It needs the notch cut out and a thinner spacer. It must be a "Touring" related frame change rather than year related.
I was just getting ready to fabricate another batch of these, so timing in finding this variation couldn't be better. The "notch" will not affect other models, so all will be made with it in the future. Apparently in it's present form, it still fits the Roadsters. It'll also come with a couple different sizes of spacers, as there seem to be variations there as well.

It is a nice product, well made and useful if it works. I don't even have a simple motorcycle jack to test it. The V8 bikes have oil pans in the way so a regular motorcycle jack won't work. I finally ordered one which will be here in a couple of days to use for the Rocket.

I got mine set up with the final fitment....Bob used my bike to prototype the new bracket with a notch in the right spot. Now he seems to have some ready to go, and I have got one! It clears the starter, does not get in the way of the drain tube that hangs down, at least on mine said tube is long enough to hang out and point to the ground as it should. Get yours now, before they run out and Bob has to crank up the machine shop again!

I also got a front bracket which may not really be needed, and may go out of production if it hasn't already. You can actually jack front wheel, rear wheel or the whole bike, with only the rear bracket. The whole idea is to relieve the engine of bearing ALL the weight of the bike. The bracket bears the majority, and the mounting point allows for excellent fore/aft balance. But he had a front one, and I decided to have it. Everything is powder coated semi-flat black just as the frame rails and so it looks quite like it belongs.

Oh, and I got some 2 inch risers for my handlebar out of the deal. Nothing fancy, and just does the job, for WAY less money than Rivco risers! If other brands are any comparison JBQ risers would be a bargain even were they twice the price!

Oh, and in other threads some worried these may affect ground clearance....not that I can imagine....unless...you are taking your Rocket to the Isle of Man TT to run....and even then I think you'll ground the pegs first.

I think I'll go ahead and get one for my 2010 R3T... :)
Found what I needed to know right here!

Now, off to find a good, but cheap two rail jack...

I have used one from Harbor freight for 10 years without issue. The last three of those years were on my 800 lb T-Bird, about the same weight as the R3. It was under $100.

What is the clearance under the bike with and without the bracket, please ? Folks mention jacks, and jacks have a minimum insertion height, and a maximum lift height.
