Wish there was something like this here.
Great handle - Black Dog!
I think they (Black Dog) organize a fund raiser ride from all the capital cities in Aust to Ayers Rock annually. Quite a few celebrities and politicians participate and use their notoriety to promote the cause and raise money.

The reason I ask is PTSD has touched my family - it's REAL - it can be deadly!
In my small way, I try to support efforts to raise monies to combat this $hit!
I see that @Wrecka is going and looking for riders.
The sign up is like $30 and I would like to sponsor two riders for the event.
If anyone is interested, please PM me with info so I can PayPal the do-re-me.
#1) @Wrecka
#2) ??? @bruce aussie you going?
Or whatever.

This here looks to be an awesome thing to me - I find nothing like this over here in the US . . .

Mate my Sister has suffered from Bi-Polar for over 20 years , sad seeing her deteriorate over time , i also have many former collegues from the Military and when i used to work in the Middle east as a paid Opperator that suffer varying degrees of PTSD. I also have times when it jumps up and bites me on the ass , usually when least expected.

Been through it myself , , , fortunately not so serious I ever considered doing myself in.
It does pop up now and then as @Wrecka stated. As I wear out with age, the PTSD seems to age and diminish as well.

That went well , nottttt. Left here at 0630 light rain so i took no wet weather gear , got just up the road and got caught in tropical downpour for 20 klm , when i got to the meeting point there wasnt many people there so i did a UTurn and headed home to dry off :)
