I went to the Chicago IMS show yesterday. Triumph had a booth there. I was asked if I would give my option on a concept bike. Sure, why not. Then they put 3D visors on me and started asking questions.

What did I see?

I can't tell you it's a secret. But?

It had 2498 cc
It had 170 HP
It had an inline engine
It came in a sport touring and roadster version.
Rocket was not an option for a name for this project.

Do me a favor. Don't tell anybody. OK.

OK, I'll be the first to take the bait. Is this something we might see in the near future or concept fluff? If you saw and talked to the Triumph folks, please tell us more!

Something smells funny. I was going to pass on the show this year, Triumphs presence is usually a token measure at best last year one of the harley dealers, fox valley or woodstock I don't remember brought a few Triumphs to the show but generally there's no representation by triumph.

Everything I saw was computer generated. Triumph had the Bobber, Street Cup, and the other new bikes there. Windy City Triumph brought some of the other current models for the booth, but it was Triumph that was there. Will it hit production? I do not know. At least we know they are looking at the next generation Rocket.

Agreed...went to the Dallas show this year, no Triumph booth...there were some classic Triumphs on display, but no representation at all.

If I had signed a non disclosure I would not have posted on here. It really happened. On the right side is were they had the white stools that they were doing the survey. One thing they have down at these events. Hire a bunch of scantily clad girls to ask you for your name, telephone, number, e-mail address, and zip code.
