Intake air temperature sensor replacement

From looking at your numbers, you coincidentally caught the point where the two curves cross, at 133 the delta inverts, so it probably crosses right at 125 or so.

The deltas are minor, and, I wouldn't hesitate to use the 2K for a second with one caveat. Check the resistance of both AT 100c/212f. You need to know that delta so you can set the turn on of the fan to compensate.

For example if the stocker is .4 @ 100c and the 2K is .38, you need to set the fan turn on temp to a few degrees cooler to turn it on at the same real temp and keep the motor safe. So if you turn your fan on at 99c now, set it to like 96c to compensate, or whatever temp cross-references between the sensors to adjust for the new voltage.

A few degrees here and there will make ZERO difference in how the bike runs while warming up, or while on the move on the freeway.
Good point, I will test at both water freezing and boiling. As you point out it looks pretty good in the temperature range to be expected.
I would expect the fan to be controlled by the coolant temperature sensor.

Thanks,

Rick

Sorry total brain fart there lmao on which sensor.
