I'm curious what we Americanos are paying to insure the R3 annually. I called my company for a quote and they said $800. I'd like to think that was a mistake on their part!

The coverage quoted was for 100/300K liability limit and $8000 limit on aftermarket stuff ($3K for custom paint and $5K for non-performance aftermarket bling).

I'd like to see what y'all are paying and what kind of coverage limits you're getting for the money! thanks

My premium is at $22.76 per month ($273.12 annually). Not sure what my coverage is, probably not as good as what you quoted but I e-mailed my agent, hopefully I'll know something by tomorrow and I'll let you know my limits then.

$285 for almost the exact coverage you have. The only difference is I don't have that much coverage for add-ons as my bike is stock other than the risers and a sissy bar that's rarely on the bike.

$100,000/$300,000/$100,000, $500 deductible for comp/coll, is $316.40 per year with American Family. They do cover a certain amount of bolt-ons but I can't recall what the limit is.

Gecko

Mine's $262.70 per year with the Gecko for the standard 100/300/50 and a $100 deductible for comprehensive and a $250 deductible for collision. Interesting note - when I added my 19 year old son on my policy to ride my '92 Harley, the premium for that bike (with no comprehensive or collision) jumped to $741 - OUCH!!

Yow, methinks we're getting hoodwinked here in The Garbage State. I, too, have a $500 deductible. Was paying about $500/yr for my VTX 1800. I have 2 points on my license which lost me a 25% "safe driver" discount. I'd like to think that I'm still a safe driver, just a little fast at times.

Just re-upped with Geico for $502 per year after getting an $800 quote from Progressive.
