My fuel bot tells me I’m getting 6.8 a 7.0 lt per 100klms and 300 - 320 Klos distance to empty. But usually putting 16lt of high octane (98 ron) in after about 250klms

Mine generally tells me 7.18-7.46L/100kms - 280-300DTE using 95.

Inaccurate fuel gauge is common thing on Rockets. Fuel LED comes ON after about 60 km on mine. Since I was left without fuel for the first time (say 20 years ago) I do not trust fuel LED on any bike any more. I use the trip computer to measure distance between refueling, that works fine. What annoys me is that fuel LED that is ON all the time as it is pretty bright

Same thing on my 07 Classic. When I took it in for the 10k service, the mechanic bent the float rod. It was better but the light still came on with about 1.5 gallons left in the tank.
