I don't blame you JD, I was constantly worried about my Rocket leaving me stranded somewhere while I had it, that's why I wasn't too sad to see it go. Sure I would have rather not seen it repo'ed but I could do nothing about it.
Looking in from the outside now, after not having the Rocket any longer and just standing around and listening to the conversations about them struck me as funny. Everyone talked about how trouble free they are but almost to a man expressed concerns about, ignition switch failure, replacing the TPS, Idle Stepper motors, headlight relays, cam chain tensioners, shifter problems, etc. It really started to sound like a bunch of Harley folks with all the issues, but blinded by an unwavering love for the machine. Don't get me wrong, I have a special place in my heart for the Rocket, it really is an incredible machine, but it does have it's faults. I probably won't ever have another Triumph, hell I may never have another bike, but if I do it won't be another modern Triumph.
