Ignition (start switch) problem

..................... Didd Triumph ever change the routing of the headlights so power doesn't go through the ignition switch?

Not until 2012 Roadster, my late 2009 Classic had to have a bypass - I made my own.

Triumph have a upgrade bypass kit for the 2010-2011 Roadster - the 2012 Roadster has a bypass from new.
