I'd forgotten about the RAASK rails. They'd be a better option than using the Roadster ones for a custom mod because the Roadster ones won't have a enough ground clearance with pegs moved forward. It's low enough as it is. If you're going to do a mod, better to base it on the earlier rails.

my 2008 Touring has highway pegs fitted but cant reach them (im 5'10"). mine had the TOR pipes fitted when purchased, so cant compare. the standard bars i find put my wrists at an uncomfortable angle (will be fixed soon). i find the power more than sufficient. and beware of gel seats in the sun, they stay hot for hours....

As Hunty said... easy to de-restrict. But maybe not so for the NEW ones as they have a locked ECU.
I gained + 40 horse power just by changing to Reband exhaust, triple filters and a dyno.
You might prefer the standard/classic with the foot pegs more forward that the Roadster. Im 5'11" and 115 kgs and I have traction problems...

Hey bro I'm from Cairns. I also have Reband headers exhaust. Did you keep the carbon fibre heat shields. I tool mine off, didnt like the look and do bugger all. Big mistake. The heat coming off bare header is unbearable. Now have header heat wrapped. I have Ramair fitted and dyno as well.

Pick of my 2016 Rocket guys. Reband headers, Exhaust. Headers now heat wrapped. Burns holes in my jeans as you see it LOL. Ramair fitted, and dyno. Been stripped down with all the heavy **** gone. Cut down guards etc. Have 11" forward controls I got from the US. Has 1.5" TBars I got from Thunderbikes in NZ. Brand new Avon Cobra tyres. Runs pretty hard I reckon. All my mates with Harleys, just watch my back tyre from behind LOL
