I've owned Harleys all my life, I can't be shocked anymore.

I had only rode Harley's before the rocket. Put 25,000 on my 2013 fatbob. Always had forward controls and a windshield. The aerodynamics are a lot better on the rocket. I rode mine home from the dealer(interstate 65-70 mph). No windshield, no problem. It feels like the wind pushes down on your shoulders. Of course I am only 5'6". I encourage you to ride yours some before you buy a windshield. The sound will never be a Harley, but you get over it pretty quick and start loving the sound of the rocket. The rocket handles better, it is harder to find parts for customizing, but that makes it more fun. Like an Easter Egg hunt.

Hi, I'm 5'8' and couldn't reach the forward pegs on the FatBob that's why I got the center pegs. You must have long legs! That's my FatBob and the wife's Low Rider. I can't wait for my Rocket!

Yep...you'll have to fab your own brackets...the ones that come with the bags are pretty useless.

Regarding a throttle lock device, I use a Go Cruise. Cheap, works, but it isnt cruise control. But it saves you right hand!

That would be awesome, my wife has a Low Rider, we like to ride west on Sunday mornings, Ottawa, Oregon, (the town not state)!! Shabbona. Two Rockets together in Illinois would be historical! I’ve only seen one ever on the road. Got to warn you though I’m an old fart in a 20 year old head. Are you on Facebook?
