I thought I had a Classic but turns out to be A Special!

2006 classic
Last night in I was in another thread about recalls so I hit the link put in my VIN number and hello I came back with 2006 special.

Can anyone tell me what's the difference between the two, classic and special.

There were some specials sold with factory changes, at least one had red rims.

Triumph does some really odd stuff now and then. There are mutant 2002.5 Daytona 955s running around with a mix of 2002 and 2003 parts that match no fiche as a whole because of the factory fire. Some had their demo show bike spares used because that’s all that was at hand during assembly lol.
