I have a dead Coil.

I have a spare coil here if you need one at a reasonable price
 
It's usually a weak crimp on the spade wire connectors above each coil that causes the problem good Dr.

Recrimp and coat with some pookie (dielectric grease) and you should be good to go!:thumbsup:

Thanks for that, I have not had a chance to lift the tank yet annd have a look. Was holding off buying anything until then.
 
I'll betcha six pack of this fine nectar https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/12897/45919/ that you don't need a new coil or coils. Jest lift that tank, clean the connectors, crimp em' together nice and tight, pookie 'em up and you'll be back on the road again...

Found the problem, one wire had come off number 1 coil. Those engineers at the factory must have been smoking something wierd when they decided to put that coil where it is, just about need an endoscope to find it[wankers].
