I don't know why I want a R3T. I just do. Can't get it out of my head that I need one. It's just there.

Is there a support group? Is there hope?

Welcome Malibu_Dan. It's a sickness. I know exactly what your saying. I felt the same way when I bought my new 2013 last year. I don't know why somebody hadn't bought it from the dealer yet but I was always fascinated with the bike from the first time I saw one. I actually loved my Harley. For some mysterious reason I had to have it so I talked my way in to buying it (had to deal with the wife). I think it's the shear power, size and uniqueness that surrounds the bike...plus, I wanted something no one else had. I only had about 6 weeks left for riding it last year, but I'm looking forward to the next summer. Buy it and make it your own!

Wow, guys. What I'm hearing here is there's only ONE cure. Buy the bodacious bike, and ride it. Then ride it some more. Planning on the tourer 'cause I'll be using it for 3-up mile-munching... wifey, me, and:

Training her to wear the doggles in a cage first.

Welcome from Georgia your neighbor from just south of you. Buy it and you'll be of the few that know what a great bike truly is.

Thanks, neighbor--and everyone else. I'll be bombing through your neighborhood, hvacnr, next week on my way to Florida. Was going to take the bike, but wifey wants to go now and it's a bit cold for her. May have to cage it. :(

Probably for the best. Next time you're on 24 and pass the Murfreesboro exit, wave at my son. At least you have better riding weather this time of the year in TN. Warmer temps and certainly no salt residue on the roads like we have here in Michigan. I have to wait until we have a few good rains in spring before I can get mine out of the box. Late March or April. :-(

Welcome to the forum from the Northeast...... I see your from TN home of the Harley and Hickok 45. You better get a Wide Glide for touring or Roadster you could be in trouble for breaking protocal ..JMO...:roll:;)
