I did a thing

So did you try?

Reversed shift pattern may help with making sure the gear engagement is solid

I don’t have a rear tire atm, just doing little things while I patiently wait for it to arrive.

My thoughts exactly about engagement, it’s a hell of a lot easier leant way over to the left side to upshift with GP pattern.

A reverse shift pattern would be counter to the acceleration forces.
I would think incomplete shifts would be more prevalent.

While that is indeed true, for me the lifting motion feels awkward. I might hate it, who knows but figured I’d give it a try

I haven't found different **** patterns to bean issue. I have the R3T - left foot shift, a 69 T150 - right foot 1 down 3 up and a 73 Commando -right foot 1 up 3 down. Haven't had a problem with wrong pattern, but than the 3 bikes are very different
