How many Standard Rockets are out there..?

mines an MY07 but first registered Jan 09, still dont know what it is, bought with the bags, screen etc. How do you tell the difference?

Bash the tank with a hammer if it dents it is not a std. we had the same discussion a few years ago at Maggie Valley with TonyMac so we put my theory to the test, his was not a std.

Alan, the most obvious differences between the Standard and Classic were:

Standard: pegs, single seat with pillion pad, angle cut exhaust tips.

Classic: foot boards, pull back handle bars, dual touring seat, tapered exhaust tips and 2 tone paint. I think they also had the chrome rocker cover as standard.

I was right behind TonyMac when he dented his classic. I was on my faster red 06 standard like I always am, looking for the black wanabee faster dudes. .

My 04 standard came with chrome cover.

Jeez George, I'd be looking to take the "long way" home if my daily trip was only 10km.

My commute is 1.1 mile each way. Engine doesn't even get warm.
