Good to see all you Hervey Bay travellers made it back in more or less one piece (Hanso). I've followed your progress from over here, and looking forward to Nabiac next Easter.

We've been to Tokyo, Paris, Scotland and now in Italy. I've established that outside Australia there is only one R3, and that was in Paris - even got a photo of it over the top of my breakfast croissant when it was taking off at the lights.

Other things I've noticed is that there are more Goldwings in Paris than I've ever seen anywhere-god knows how they fit them through the traffic and the streets. Other than Goldwings, almost every other bike in Paris had two wheels on the front.

Scotland- nothing but wet bikes. Very depressing place to own a bike...my Irish step cousin in law (I think thats the relationship) lives there and he has just sold his Harley he's had for years, just reckons he sick of getting soaked.

Italy- its all scooters. I've seen the occasional Ducati on a Sunday morning. Vespas and scooters everywhere- I reckon you could import cheap old Vespas for nothing and sell them in Australia and make a profit.

Without sounding all patriotic, if you want to ride a bike, I reckon you'll g a long way to find somewhere better to do it than Oz...narrow roads and traffic over here would sort of take the fun out of it. But the coffee's better..

Hope the Rocket still starts when I get home! It will have been six weeks!

Ciao guys,

I thought it might of been a bit over the top with some of the comments. Sh#t just the normal Aussie greeting to a mate over seas. :D

Everywhere else is a nice place to visit but who'd want to live anywhere but here? You missed a fun time but I'm sure you'll make up for it.
Ponters, I'll get around to translating that filth you posted but not sure I need to. You're a sick sick man. ;)

nah brother, i used to be when i was young and silly, but now i just vaguely remember how to pretend i still am.
