TRIIICK, got hung up on Rt 100 in 2010 due to road repairs. If it's torn up again, it must be Irene-related. Great ride when it's clear, pain when it's not. I grew up at the foot of Killington, but have never made the event. Hope to get to Lake George this year.

Both my cousin and her husband were ski instructors at Mt. Killington, they own Mountain Travelers sporting Goods / ski shop in Rutland. She sent me these photos awhile back of Hurricane Irene,i couldn't believe the damage done to Rt.100 and that area. Lake George car show has become real popular in the last couple of years. If your looking for a place to stay make reservations well in advance,

TrIIIck,

Thanks for the pics. So, I'm thinking your cousin's last name begins with "K," and has a daughter whose first name begins with "E," yes? Didn't want to give names online.

Vermont can be a small place.

Thank you, 64Herald, rode the beast pretty much the entire BRP in Sept. 2010, and stopped in Maggie Valley to take a look. These past few days I've seen the posts re: the upcoming MV RAA meet in mid-May and have begun to think about going.
