Help ? PC5 +Auto in OHIO

Just thought I'd let you guys know..I had small problem but it's fixed and I have to say Big ThankYou to MorePoweracing for thier great aftersales support

I had just loaded a slightly more radical AFR table into the PCV and went for a ride.... well it started out alright then suddenly whileopening her up out of a fast lefthander she stuttered and bucked and carried on like it had a bad gutt full of fuel, now i had ridden it the day before no worries so I knew it wasn't fuel as the ride progressed this happen a few more time to the point of it coughing and carrying on then bang full power resulting in a couple of unplanned wheelies.
Got home connected the computor up to see if I could get it to do it while stationary ..... soon as I bought the revs up into the juciy bit walaa there it happened but I noticed at the same time the AFR reading disappeared then reappeared on and off .... well it got thinking I must have dodgy AutoTune and I had checked the connections before connecting and starting it up.... then I had brain wave.. I checked the connection while the bike was running... as soon as I touched the Can Cable (the little two wire (white and green) cable that runs from the PCV to the AT the reading stopped again so bit more gigiling and there it was ..... so on inspecting the terminal in the end of the lead with a torch I could see it didn't look the same and looked again but with a maginifing glass I could see that someone at the assembly line had f**ked up so I rang dynotune who acknowlegded the problem But then said that they would not replace it for free because I had not bought it from the Aussie distributer Serco PTY LTD to counter this I told him I had bought it through an Aussie registered web site he said "bad luck maybe they will be able to help but I doubt it". not happy and being a stubborn Dutchman, I rang MorePoweracing and once I explain there was nothing wrong with the units just the cable he asked if I could email a photo just to make sure he did send the wrong one, which I did and promptly recieved an email back advising me that as soon as he got one in from dynotune he would forward it on to me in a couple of day, In the mean time I have actually temp fixed it so it is making a better connection by opening up the plug which has two tiny release tabs on its sides and moved the wires straightenout the tiny terminal and with a lot of cursing got the terminal back in ( they only go in one way and with big fingers .. not easy)
Any way I just thought I would post this in case it happened to any others but mainly for the Aussie guys that if have bought it thru MorePower they will honour your warranty ;):D

Hanso you beast! You broke it already. :D

Ah I see,,,,.;) You made sure to install the CAN bus termination plug in the PCV right???? Just asking, as I forgot it and only after the tech at Dynajet told me did I install it. Without it the A/T won't talk to the PCV.
:roll::roll:Ha Ha..... you are kidding me right what did you think it was using telephathy or wireless:rolleyes:

on a serious note the tiny female terminal in the plug only goes in one way and I reckon I got Friday arvo made one when the guy on the production line was bleary eyed and tried to put it in upside down and bent squashed it so it was only just touching the male pin in the PCV and this contact would disconect if the wire had any presure from the wrong side I straightened it out and unsquashed it as much as I dared with out breaking this very small fine bit of metal any way I got it back in the right way and wedged a tip of a toothpick to hold the wire over that and a ziptie to hold the plug and wires from being distrubed till I get the new Can Cable from MorePower.... I have just been on a 60km ride and it is working fine for now, I just hope the new cable arrives before I go down to the island in a couple of weeks

See Hanso, this is why I let you get all these things first.
a small hicup the only problem I have now is that with the AFR table I concocted is making the bike that responsive that while leaving my mate Bryans the other day I nearly flipped it:eek: it just came up that fast I thought I was gonner:rolleyes: I think the exhaust mod may have helped cos it has better responce all over but before the same amount of throttle would just lift the front up a little :D
