Help! Bike cranks once but won't start.

Maybe a stupid post but the same thing happened to me last year. The battery terminals were not dead tight. Torqued them down and all was well.

I had the same problem with my batt. tried to jump start it no go. took batt. to be load tested no good gentlemen said to check the acid level in cells if you can if I could see exposed lead grids batt. toast if just a little low fill with distilled h2o should be ok. mine was trashed. new batt. starting fine now.

I have bought a battery tender after noticing Bubz had one on both his bikes. Never a problem since....
