Still alone but was never big into thanksgiving anyway, after all we sent the boats(you are more than welcome):D my thanksgiving morning is spent refereeing a few football(soccer) games, my good pals son passed away nine years at the age of twenty two now he lived and breathed soccer so every thanksgiving we have the Turkey Bowl where local soccer players come out to the local High School and play some mini games for a few hours it also helps raise funds for the scholarship that is set up in Masons name.
Always have a good time then everyone goes home and enjoys Thanksgiving.

Jeez that sounds like a horrible work routine and 3hr commute each way leaving less than 6 hours a day to sleep.:notworthy::notworthy:
What do you do and why so far away from work?

Before retiring a couple of years ago I did 12 hours shifts 7-7,2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off for 12 years on a similar 365 day a year roster, regardless of Public Holidays, weekends etc in the national security scene but had the huge advantage of a 12 minutes largely traffic free ride/drive the 15km to work and back and 5 weeks rec leave a year when I chose. :D:thumbsup::whitstling:
