Has anyone tried one of these on R3?

This GIpro TRE sounds like an interesting cheaper alternative to getting by some restrictions that Tuneboy takes care of, but they're so **** vague about what the heck it does I doubt it is getting past any restrictions and probably just advancing ignition for a little gain. With Tuneboy, you definitely notice a performance boost when you remove all the restrictions.

I wouldn't use this TRE stuff if you have Tuneboy because Tuneboy can change ignition and some maps do, so using TRE on top could royally mess up your engine. Best be **** sure your Tuneboy ignition maps stay at stock if you're using the TRE.

Thanks for that, I'm embarrased to say my German is not as good as your english and the language converter on the www doesn't work.

Please let me know what it is made of, does it fit our bar diameter, and what does the price shown include

On a different subject, earlier in the thread comment was made that it shouldnt be used with a Tuneboy, I assume it would be ok if the ignition adjustment functionn was turned off?

thanks

I have now had the chance to try the Gipro in all the settings including TRE off and I cant say if there is any effect at all, I have emailed Gipro to get a better explanation of the settings so I will post their reply. That German mounting looks nice but a bit pricey.

I guess we all search for one more gear. I finally realized that if the tach and speedo are parallel, it is fourth gear. If the tach is "pushing" (lower than) the speedo it is in fifth and finally if the tach is 'pulling' the speedo, it is in third. ( And by the way, the bike does OK starting from a dead stop, two up in THIRD if you let the clutch slip for second, ) (don't ask why, but I did it!)
great minds think alike...I use the same logic. 8)
