If you can, get checked by a physician. What type of work do you do? That could also be causing a mild carpal tunnel syndrome and the position of your hands and the vibration of the bars could be making it worse, or more noticeable.
I had a handlebar vibration problem on my Suzuki C90 - solved it by using a "Bar Snake", a weighted tube of material which is threaded into the bars. Damps a ton of vibration. Check it out here: http://www.barsnake.com/
Sometimes I find that my hands get a little numb but that usually means I am gripping the bars too tightly. If I remind myself to have a lighter grip the numbness goes away in a few minutes.
Push-pull is the normal dual throttle cable. Ride by wire is a gear and electronics, on Harleys that sits at the end of the bar inside the grip, and the grip has corresponding grooves to fit on the end and turn the gear on the bars.
I get this numbness on the Rocket but not my other bikes. For me it's the position of the bars and the angle of my wrists.
I added Kurys and the ned weights and it helped a little. Great improvement with gel palmed gloves, but still get numb hands.
Try repositioning the bars slightly up or down. http://www.olympiagloves.com/blog/gel-motorcycle-gloves-7-tips-to-combat-vibration
Well, i tried out my isogrips and only my left hand went numb, i guess thats 50% better. Now i'll have to try bar position, if that doesn't work risers.
