Rode to work this morning so had a chance to evaluate the cost effectiveness of the Eastern Beaver H-4 Relay kit installation.

At startup I noted the low beams were brighter than before by enough margin that the blue tinge of the H-4 lights I'm using was evident. When I switched on my auxiliary lights normally I would see a doubling of the light. In this instance I got a wider pattern but no brighter. That means the 55W aux lights aren't any brighter than the 55W headlights (finally). When I hit the high beams the stock system would increase light range about 10 feet to 20 feet. The relay kit improved distance between 50 feet and 70 feet on high. (estimated)

That means the relay kit was worth every penny I paid for it. :D

Welcome to a new member of the Eastern Beaver Society. If you use air horns, the horn relay is a must. Going to order the fuse block for my chopper project.

Put the horn relay kit on in 2008. I was just a little slow in getting around to the headlights.
