Don't look like you got much choice buddy, back to the dealer with the bike and take no prisoners..
You need it diagnosing pretty quick, just in case its something serious.
And if it is don't let them tear it down, insist on another bike....

TAZ, I would have them look at the Output shaft bearing. Thats the way mine sounded before it went out. Now the engine sounded great while at idle but the moment I got moving geezZZZZZZ.
Good luck!
All the Best,
Dog

G'day TAS,

I know this may sound silly, but have you checked the rear shock preload settings?

Mine had a graunch in it as the shocks bottomed out over very minor bumps, adjusting both shocks to position 3 solve the problem, both solo and 2 up.

Might be right off the track, but worth checking.

Cheers,

Pete

Output shaft bearing!!!!!!
Sounds like the same noise mine and a friend of mine, made. Both bike are sitting at the dealer waiting for parts. The factory has been back ordering them lately

Wow, hell of a first post there, Racer-X! Can you fill in the details, year of bikes, mileage, etc? Don't forget to participate in the Sticky poll in this section.
