Supercharged
Ok, I did a 245 raptor. A member here runs the same tire, weighs 180 and uses 32 psi. I'm 265 and so I set it to 34. It fought a bit so I went to 32. At this point I really don't notice it's a car tire except for making a slow sharp right into my driveway over the curb.
So I have a couple of questions. 1. It's winter in Chicago and so all my riding has been in the cold. Should I expect any change in handling when it warms up or am I good?
Being that it doesn't fight back to turn there's really no benefit to lower the PSI more? I would imagine this would just make the side wall flex and wear more.
unrelated, my bike doesn't mean very much on the side stand. I went for a ride today and when I went to put it in the garage I put the bike on the stand and got off, it started rolling down the driveway on the stand. Is this normal? I only owned the bike since August and it hasn't done that before.
