Good Price for comfort ?

That clear screen looks great mate and nice cycle to boot you have there , i ride mine ( for the past 5-6 weeks ) to work 4-5 days per week and do 200klm round trip so i really do req a small screen and bars for safety and comfort , thanks for the pic
Also ride mine daily to work mate, only a 20-25k round trip, but like to get out on the weekends

Just joking about the car bit, big screens and fairings just not my thing not to sure about Mitch and the Goldwing. I've heard that's true. I have the fly screen on my Roadster because I like the look of it, don't know if it stops any wind or not, never ridden it without it. Triumph Springwood put it on to clinch the deal when I brought it. From memory the screen and the bracket kit was about $500.00 Aus.

Come on Bruce---- You and Mitch don't offer a lot of wind resistance mate. hahahaha:laugh::D
Not compared to Wrecka anyway...o_O:oops:

I know I'm in the minority but all screens suck. They might deflect a little wind off your chest but it just winds up on your back anyway. Then there's a noise and buffetting. Can't stand it. Plus, the bigger they are the worse they look. Get a rider's back rest to take the pressure off your arms and enjoy riding the way it was always meant to be - out in the wind.

The standard R3T clear screen works for me,no wind at all on my chest at 100kph actually a negative (Vacuum) effect behind the screen if you are wearing a light jacket it pulls at the front towards the screen ,have any other Touring riders noticed this ,I had a C109RT Suzuki Boulevard before the Rocket(another story) that had a simular screen and it was the same, in light rain or road spray from other vehicles is deflected ,great for 8 hour rides no arm or back strain and no helmet buffeting ,I am 6'1 and not exactly slim so it suits me. 012.JPG

My Screen - Larger than the fly screen but smaller than the summer screen wind still hits me in the helmet and shoulders.

Thanks for that. I've been having a hell o'va finding image of an actual rocket with that windscreen. Looks pretty good.

I just put my dresser bars on. They're awesome and really sturdy, easy install. But silly me forgot to order highway pegs... Anyway, here's a picture:

Well, since we're talking R3 Roadster, my experience with the R3 Touring isn't that germane, but putting a 19 inch Clearview with a recurve up top was the best touring-friendly thing I've done. Sure, there's some buffeting but it's extremely mild, and the light tint of the screen looks sweet.

Germane! I haven't heard that word since a Magistrate used it to dismiss my excuse for being 4.5 tonne over weight on my Semi trailer 15 years ago ,(rotten RTA Scalies) I told him the last (same size) load of Reo bar was lighter he said that is not a Germane excuse (relevant) I had to look it up when I got home from court with a conviction,
Nice word smithing though

Went up to Canberra today with Ruzzle and we had some fairly large Gusts of wind (Gale Force Winds forecast) and expected to get pushed around .. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the 25 inch Clearview screen cut thru the wind it was never a problem at time it was head on and other time from the side, at one lot of of the many current road works (plus road crews clearing trees from the winds) a young lady was struggling to hold the stop go lolly pop sign:eek:

And Big Thank You to Richard (@CanberraR3 ) for getting the XXXl gloves for @ruzzle and myself he even made sure it was well worth the near snowing condition in Canberra, my hands were still nice a warm when I got home, His CES + Foran Exhaust system sounded Sweet, much nicer than the TOR's and civil at low revs but soon changed when throttle was blipped .... very nice:thumbsup:
