Good mount for Garmin GPS

I got a Garmin Nuvi 50 LM GPS for x-mas. Has anybody found a decent handlebar mount that doesn't cost more than the GPS unit did ? There are a lot of them for sale on Amazon but most get low ratings. One I read about, the guys GPS fell out of the poorly designed mount and hit the pavement while under way . I don't need an enclosed mount. If it's raining I'll put it away. Any suggestions ?

I use a Ram Mount for my Nuvi. Not real fancy, but its still on there after a few years.

What I got works awesome. Not shiny chrome like TRIIICK; but, functional as hell. Seems like it was about $30. Hardest part was rummaging through all the stuff. Here are some links that may be helpful.

Hi Fred,
This is the one I use. It did break at the bottom of the square shaft, but I drilled through the whole bracket from underneath and put a long screw through to the ball then apoxy filled it, seems to work better now.

I have 3 RAM mounts: GPS, phone, and GoPro camera. All very reasonably priced.

I like the Techmount over RAM for looks, have used used both and they are both good. Techmount does have an inexpensive waterproof cover but I either just used a clear pastic bag or took gps off.

I've got one like this. Kind of pricy but I just didn't want a big chunk of black plastic ugly-ing up my handlebars when the GPS wasn't mounted.

Cheap, pretty good in the waterproof area, touchscreen works well, and easy enough to take off if I'm just gonna be local for a while (but I did mount a permanent chrome cig plug on the bars so I didn't have to run any wires when taking on/off).
