After riding HD's and now been converted to the R3 one thing I have found similar in both is although genuine accessories are more expensive, at least they fit and everything you need is included, also they are safe and are of good quality....one exception being the pannier rails!
I have made very expensive mistakes ... if it aint genuine dont fit it cuz It'll end in tears!! "buy it cheap and you buy it twice"...... 8)

Well, some aftermarket accessories are better than the originals. Just ask the Rivco crash bar owners and "some of" the Triumph "dresser bar" owners. BTW is it true Triumph is now producing "knock-offs" of the Rivco handlebar risers??

Pot stirred, he drifted happily away.

Triumph take the piss with there excessive price.I always try to buy non triumph accessories or make em meself.Would only buy genuine engine parts.Basically triumph dont make any descent after market parts like chopped rear guards or straight handle bars carbon bits and peices ect that im interested in.

A big 10-4 on the dresser bars...rivco much stronger.

Have found with some of genuine triumph accs that the quality is not as good as say items from rivco :?

Yep lets have mega strong Rivco dresser bars so that when the bike topples over the super mega strong dresser bars stay rigid and bend the frame instead.......... much rather the Triumph bars crumple and take the impact!

Be boring if we only used Triumph bits
Most of my mods are nothing to do with Triumph
