Sorry Goodfellow couldn't find the thread you started on devices for loading tones but if Wayne say's we can use windows mobile I have attached a wed link to the adapter I think you will need.

I was thinking with Windows mobile you might not be able to use all the features of tune-boy ie. custom mapping but what if he could modify things so you could just take you existing tunes and transfer them to the memory card in your phone so you can down load from the phone. So all you would be doing is transferring tunes not creating.

I think Wayne would be better able to answer. I'm an IT guy at work, but I don't have TuneBoy and wouldn't know what versions of Windows or other operating systems it would be compatible with.

I wouldn't think TuneBoy would need much resource wise though. I would think a used, older laptop would work well. I can't see Tuneboy being compatible with the Palm OS or Windows Mobile, but it may work?

yep,
i think it'll work Paul.:) sure would be way cool if it does. i think we is on to something here..... i guess it's really a matter of downloading net interface instead burning a mini disc. i'm wonder if we would need a memory card for all of the tune-boy drivers? the mobile xp might work, dunno for sure........ i'm starting to get really curious about this:D. watcha think,Dave? the baud rate is adjustable......

so how come when i was asking about this 8 or 9 months ago all I got was "dude get a small laptop"

If teh triumph tool is "game boy size" belive it or not teh software code can be written or adapted to "play" on a different OS/Platform.. shoot he could probably adapt it to a PSP /gameboy/ IPOD or somethign similar.... then it woudl be just like the man said, load the cartridge and then push a button or two on your toy and load the tune..

would not need the funcionality of full tune modification just load
