Your right there Andy. If you want fuel economy out of the Rocket , drive like your granny. I laughed at the fuel prices in the US when I took my Rocket there in 2010. You've got it good over there guys.

It is harder on us over here because were aren't crammed together like you are. Being there is so much distance between destinations creates extreme hardships when fuel gets this expensive. Id bet you guys spend less overall for fuel because you do not have to drive as far and also have much more rapid transit. It isn't uncommon for people here in the DFW metro-plex have to drive 90 or so miles or 1-2 hours to get to work. That amounts to ~$1000 a month just to get to and from work at today's prices.

You got it great over the regarding fuel, I don't think you no how lucky you are. I'm the same my rocket is for fun.

if it was then i sure do know how lucky we are here to have diesel less than $9 a gallon

I would not and will not drive a car daily that gets less than 40 mpg (us mpg) its why i currently dont own a truck.

the r3 is just for fun so i dont really care about mileage.
