Fuel Tank front hold-down bolt

I have a kit of stainless metric nuts bolts and washers....they have been invaluable in Rocket maintenance. Except for the decorative bolts like holds the instrument panel on the tank. I will eventually have all exposed fasteners replaced with stainless. The fuel tank bolts were the first for they original ones indeed vanished the first time I raised the tank!

I lost mine at around 30,000 miles. Never did get round to replacing it.

****, I was looking at that diagram and didn't see it.
A hex head bolt will be easier not to strip out, anyways.

I agree, and much easier to install with a long allen wrench.

I Use a painted steel hex bolt now...ive lost 2 stainless bolts on 2 seperate ocasions in this location never to be found again. I took Mr Charles Darwin's advice and evolved by using a magnetized long reach hex on a 3/8 socket head and keeping the bolt magnetic steel:thumbsup:
