Well I finally got down to London Ontario to see my new ride for the first time. My wife said I was making some funny rumbling noises as I sat on it! Paid the dealer off and then ordered some bling. Sadly I had to leave the bike sitting in storage. When I got back home, I sold my America for exactly what I wanted so I'm now a Rocket only child.
Only a couple more weeks before I bring it home. As to riding...... someone turn on summer please
Not this year.... but up north, there is always some form of sports festival taking place almost every weekend. Hockey, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and shoveling snow to name a few.
Sometime in the next couple of months we should be able to ride, enjoy your new bike! I had a couple of America's before getting my R3T. Kind of miss it as a run about. Wish I had not traded it in.
Well I finally drove down to London and picked up my ride. Had the dealership install the TORS and retune. Really like the sound of the bike. The salesman was super impressed with the sound compared to stock. Also picked a pile of accessories. Drove down in a 6 x 15 foot fully enclosed trailer (what a gas pig) only to return home to a snow storm and 25 centimeters of snow. Still haven't been able to take the beast out for a ride.
A number of the fellows have stopped by to take a look at her. Having never seen a Rocket, are they ever impressed. Comments like, "I guess the only thing we'll see when we're riding together are those two tailpipes!" Love it!
