Must have missed the issue on hoses. Did Triumph get a bad batch from a supplier? I've did the flex squeeze we've all done on automotive hoses. Seem perfectly fine. My first water cooled bike. I changed coolant a year ago, just because. Coolant was fine. Hoses?

Yes, they had a bad batch. I’ve seen three now split in the exact same place, it bursts with no warning just after the pump outlet, forward facing side about 1/2 long hole. Drains all your coolant very quickly and makes a nice slick water trail for your rear tire. Mine popped with under 6k miles on them.

I had one go out at about 35,000 miles (in Maggie Valley). The split was so clean it looked like someone had taken a razor down the length of it. Luckily there was plenty of helpful volunteers and tools available.

Well I guess on the next rainy day I have a little project. Can't get any easier to see and get at. Beats the hell out of standing on the side of the road... Thanks Capt.s for the help.

Hell, I'm just envious of the price of gas. I haven't seen it that low in a long time. He can do whatever he wants to his bike, he's the one that has to ride it.

I haven't EVER seen petrol at that price and I ain't no spring chicken!!

The Samco hoses by far are better made. Money well spent

One of my hoses burst at 1.5 years / 18,000 miles. I replaced them all with Samco. Highly recommend...

You can not bust my chops. It don't work. Knew I had to remove the radiator to replace clutch. so figured radiator hoses just made sense.

Replacement then absolutely did make good sense!
But, you stated, "Get some miles going the hoses suck.".
