Syd Barrett was a founding member of Pink Floyd. Google him, kind of tragic.

I don't remember doing that ............................. (some old guy? really ?) Does that mean you won't ride up to the home and bring me Poli-Grip and a cheeseburger too? Dang it Nolton, thought we were Buds :D The truth is out and it hurts, but not as bad as my back and knees.

I never heard of any of them Nolton.
Transfer them to disc and send me a copy.
Bag of weed and some shrooms huh?
Been awhile, but ,,,,,naw, don't even want to anymore.
But I will sure take a copy of them tunes if ya get some made.
ride safe,
skip

Back in "The Day" seems like if you had $500 bucks to burn, your garage band could get about 100 eight tracks made. Lot like "Rap Stars" today on CD or Mariachi bands, just go to the flea market and tell me how many names on CD's you recognize  A fool and his money, oh wait, that applies to me. Never mind.

I know Scott Walker and Syd Barrett -
Scott Walker was a member of The Walker Brothers ("The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore"
and "Make It Easy on Yourself"), and the subject of the documentary "Scott Walker, 30 Century Man"

The things he has done over the past 30 years might best be described as avant garde or experimental music.

I can't believe Jay hasn't posted on this. He probably knows all them bands. Oh Nolton make sure to carry a book of matches with ya cuz when the 8 track starts skipping or dragging you will need to tear of the cover, roll it up and put it under the tape to fix it!!! :) Ahhhh good times. The kids today have no idea about real life

The only one I know is syd barret as stated original pink Floyd before David gilmore

To think at one time that was state of the art...a hundred plus plays before the machine gobbled up the tape...;)

A hundred plays  You must be talking about an "in the house" one. If you got ten plays out of one in the car you were doing good. To cold and they would get eaten, to hot and the little foil piece that changed the tracks slid over and put a big glue booger on the tape head ! What a POS those were. I still have a home player/recorder and about 20 tapes. Never no when your going to get invited to a "70's" party :D
