After 30 years as a electrician, one thing is for sure. Architects and engineers never make mistakes, when they are in front of the owner or the owners rep, they are called over sites. Then they come to you after the meeting and and want you to help them resolve the issue. If he's a not a jerk we always work with them to resolve the problem. If their arrogance gets in the way I say I'm just play dumb. I'm pretty good at that!
I've been the guy asked to do the seemingly impossible by the clueless hordes in the conference room. Engineering Logistics solutions is my expertise. Usually I would tell them in the meeting what they are asking is not possible. Well a challenge like that often gets me thinking about how to deliver what they want or how to get close to giving them what they want. I usually find a solution that is accepted. The engineer in the video will work on their request and find a solution. He said he could do absolutely anything to the redhead because he is an expert.
And this is exactly how I feel as machinist when engineers with no machining experience or knowledge attempt to explain to me how they want something done.....lol
