Footpeg swap on a Roadster

I got a toe shiftier pedal for my Classic. I want the heel space instead of the heel shift option but want to keep the floorboards. Looks like it needs two spacers. A rubber spacer fit the fastener and as offset spacer on the lateral side. Has anyone gone that way?

Here's an old post about swapping rails, but I am still looking to trade a new set of standard rails and controls for a set of roadster rails and controls. The feet forward positioning on the standard Rocket is about the only thing I don't like about the bike. Feet forward seems to be very popular among riders- but not me.
