put a fly screen on my 2015 roadster. Once reaching 140kmh it puts me in the midst of terrible turbulence that only gets better past 160kmh. Unpleasant riding. But these are the cruising speeds on the highway we usually keep.
Any advice? Experiences to share? Will a bigger custom fly screen help? Or do I need to go for the full blown screen? I can can take it full on but on a full day riding that will weigh...
6ft tall rider here.

It sounds like you're a candidate for a larger screen. I have rode with out a fly screen and with one and couldn't tell a difference. There is some that swear it blocks some air but I wonder if they had been drinking. Larger screen will do you good.

IT does block some air but its designed for high speed runs and you have to get down behind the screen and then it works wonders on those top speed runs

Why have a screen at all? They can't stop the wind, only deflect to a different part of your body. The bigger the screen the bigger the low pressure area behind it and the more air gets sucked in behind it or you. Some of the really big ones have vents in to counteract that a little but I believe a car with all the windows up is the only way to keep all the wind off you. ;)

THE FLY SCREEN really works well over 150 mph but you must lay down behind it to avoid the wind blast just dont pop your head up at 190mph its dangerous

Yeah you have a good point there. Every time someone discusses the benefits of short or tall screens I automatically just think of a person sitting up straight in the natural riding position.

Emiel .......One option instead of buying a new OEM Triumph wind screen is find a used one and buy a new windshield "glass" from Clearview. I was lucky enough to find a used wind screen for sale here on R3Owners. I already had the fixing kit which is used for the fly screen. After receiving the used wind screen I removed the old glass and replaced it with a new one after painting the parts black. I think it looks pretty good black on my matte black bike. I saved some money by going this route. One thing good about this is Clearview offers different hieghts, widths, recurved and vent options.

I'm 6'3" with a 52'' chest i experienced the same problem when i first bought the Rocket. I went with the Triumph Summer Screen and all's well.... I wasn't a big fan of full face helmets till i owned the Rocket, that make a big difference too.

I've seen one of those MRA screeens, with a small bottom vent, mounted on a friend's R3. I think it wsa called the Versa. It should do the job as it's between a flyscreen and a medium shield sizewise.

This might work, too, but it's a tad expensive, though very well made, and I have not heard or seen any feedback on it for use on our Rockets: Windvest | Products
