No,
can't say I have.
I do distinctly remember the first trip to Maggie Valley though,
me and Lon were going through Little Rock at about warp 3.5
and something popped on a big truck ahead of us and came whizzing past my head.
Don't really know what it was, but it sure sounded like it would have hurt
when it went past.....
Mainly just have to watch out for road kill, oilfield stuff, and harley parts around here.

Years ago after getting off work at midnight was riding home with coworker on back of my 72 bonne an owl flew in front of us shut it down till it flew away got back on gas another owl flew up broke headlight glass ripped blinker off coworker was indian he acted like killing an owl was going to be the end of his world

I had three sheets of plywood come off a semi in front of me once . They were tied to the headboard and the rope must have broken or come undone. Remember they looked like giant ninja stars heading towards me .. every one of them sailed past me.

When i was a real young fella i was watching one of the older blokes, Paul Zeelstra riding his 750 Yamaha twin along the beach up the north coast. All he had on were a pair of jeans and sunnies . He rode just about out a sight then turned around and gunned it back towards all us kids. Just before he got back to where we all were he hit this seagull and it's beak stuck into his face just under his cheekbone. Broke the gulls neck and he pulled up with this dead f#ckin seagull hanging out of his face ... funny as :D

Several months ago, riding down the freeway I spotted a small car with a mattress on the roof. It was held down with a single rope through the windows. The front half of the mattress was standing straight up.

I quickly accelerated and passed him. I glanced in the mirror just in time to see the mattress go airborne. Got lucky that time.

Never anything airborne, but many years ago when getting onto 101 on a pitch black night, near San Jose, Ca I was coming up on a large truck with lots of 6-8" steel pipe on it. It was like slow motion, I watched one of the pipes roll off of the bed of the truck and then it disappeared. All I could do was hear it sliding down the road, so I gassed the Norton, hugged the far left shoulder and went zipping by. I had no idea where it was, it didn't hit me so all was good. It sure scared the crap out of me though.
