Nearest dealers are a bit of a ride but probably a better bet. Since I have the T bird it's a bit more palatable to go get one.
Make sure they have it before you go though - would not be surprised if they don't have it on the shelf; but most dealers get their parts pretty quick.
Call and if they don't have it, you can order it with CC over the phone, THEN go pick it up when it comes in.
... I now have to sort out what the heck is shorted out in the indicator housing.
That sounds familiar - when micromike1 installed my Key-Less system, he reported problem with blowing that fuse; but when we talked further on phone, found he had also installed some new bulbs in the front and the bulb was shorting out the inside of the housing; even after removing the bulb, the housing remained shorted (I wasn't able to see it personally but it appears the center electrode was shorting to the casing)
So it needed some rework to sort out the shell to undo the short. The good thing for me was that I had a real-World test that showed my Key-Less MOSFET switches really DID protect when operating into a dead short (the fuse was blowing off the main indicator switch, not when flashing off my controller during arm/disarm, when it simply did not flash - so
they did their job and self-protected)
As I recall the biggest problem with the fix for Mike was actually getting to the turn signal electrical connector plug so he could remove it! You might not need to remove it, if you can see what is going on inside and have a set of needle nose pliers.
