Final drive gear oil

I use Motul full synthetic 75/90 gear oil , it's that good I would drink it if I had a final drive

Has anybody used Motul Gear300 75w90 Synthetic for the final drive ? Any thoughts ?

Yes that's what I use in my r3, I also use the motul 15w50 in the engine. I've used this for years in 2 of my bikes.

The manual has two contradictory pieces of information in it. 1 area states using a 90/95 full synth hypoid and 170ml, and another area states 75/90 filling to the filler hole? Wtf.!?

I use redline heavy shockproof gear lube. Stuff is crazy. It's so good harley guys use it to quiet down their transmissions lol

i use bel Ray for everything. Bel Ray 75/90 synthetic gear saver. But as long as its GL 5 and synthetic you will be fine.

The new generation synthetic gear oils are completely different to the old mineral gear oils ,Penrite gear pro 80/140 oil runs out of the container like 20/50 motor oil, we use it in our "other" bike gearbox and primary case
it quietens things down and makes the changes smooth

Not to worry, Fill to the point the gear lube begins to run out of the FILL hole while the bike is upright.

Mobil 1 Synthetic GL5 75/90 is ok too. I change my final drive lube every spring. It is only about 6 OZ. so why not?

I use the penrite mentioned already and i change it whenever i do the rear rubber or repair the gearbox....so about 17 times a year...usually comes out so clean i could put it back in the container but few hunj in oil over the life of the bike is far better thousands for new drive
